Tired Of Feeling Stuck!

My name is Jeremy James. I'm 28 years old. I'm a victim/survivor of a horrific accident which left me a quadriplegic. Paralyzed from the neck down, diagnosis C3, C4. Every since May 29, 2017. I'm truly fighting to try to get my life back. I went from living in my own apartment before my condition, to an ICU at a local hospital, to a nursing facility, back to a hospital, then to an apartment where I'm fighting to regain my life. 

 

I don't let my physical limitations stop me, as this is where I get my brain to work. I learn, I research, I fight, i hope, I believe, and I reach out. I currently reside in an apartment complex that is NOT ADA equipped. There are NO ramps, NO sidewalks, and only stairs. There is no foreseeable way for me to escape these 4 walls to go for a ride in my power chair, that I got June 1, 2019… to go to a store, see a movie, or just see the world move around me.

 

God forbid there's a fire or earthquake, as I will be trapped. All I have is a 8 foot ramp that can be used by 2 strong men from a medical transportation team to take me via a gurney to and from my Dr. appointments.

 

That's how I see the world, from the back of an ambulance. I desperately am needing to find housing that can adapt to my disABILITY, so I can go back to school to get my counseling degree, so I can work with people who are going through the same challenges that I am.

 

So I can go to my therapy and gain physical strength and face the challenges that this world has offered me. God could have taken me in this accident, but he obviously feels I have a lot more to lean, give, and teach.

 

But I would like to take the time out to thank everyone for viewing my page and possibly helping me out with donations. Or even just spreading the word for my help! I'm asking for a $15,000 donation. $10,000 to go towards A better living situation for me, Better living condition, and much more space! $5000 to go towards a mobility van, And therapy.
