On the evening of July 17th, 2020 by Westlake Junior High in West Valley City, UT my 7 year old grandson Tristan was ran over by Black SUV in a hit and run auto-pedestrian accident. The SUV sped off and left my grandson with substantial injuries (they removed all of his front teeth and had to reconstruct his crushed femur which required pins and plates) obviously an extensive surgery which will require a lengthy and painful rehabilitation.
My son Jeremy and His Girlfriend are unemployed and not financially able to pay for any of the medical bills let alone what it will take for rehab and the necessary expenses associated with follow-up appointments and ongoing medical expenses. As one would expect, this could go on for months and well into the new year and is not only a huge trial for this young family, but a financially devastating event as well.
Unless the driver is caught, this financial responsibility will fall solely on them with limited help from family therefore were relying on our extended family, friends and even strangers at this time.
My family is asking anyone and everyone for their assistance and appreciate anything you can do to help.
