Trish's Health Crisis and Recovery

So, along came Irma. Trish (aka Pat) evacuated to Kissimmee and with the way the storm was coming up center of state and power was expected to go out, her sons wanted her to leave state completely in order make sure her supportive medical equipment would work. So she went to her son and daughter in law's house in North Carolina.
She had been sick prior to the evacuation, but being on the road made it worse. She caught a cold which met up with the asthma in her lungs and they decided to throw one heck of a party! They even invited pneumonia to join them!
On 9-17 she got a fever and was hurting so much, she was admitted to ICU at a hospital in Kissimmee, FL. The doctors there have operated on her lungs to clean out the damage.
As of Tuesday, 9-26 she is in a room where she can see the nightly fireworks from the Disney Parade on Main Street. A nice little spirit booster.
So close but yet so far......
In the meantime, she's been in the hospital and will probably go to a re-hab facility before she can go home because she has chest drainage tubes. The doctors told her that the tubes will be in for a MONTH. Special care and attention will be needed to handle this aspect of her care.
Trish is self employed and hasn't been able to work in the last 5 weeks due to these health issues.
Fortunately, she is on the mend, but has a long road to full recovery. She will not be able to work during this time.
In anticipation of the day of reckoning when the bills arrive, she & her family would like to ask all of you (her family and friends) for any help you might be able to offer.
