It's time for our first annual charity fundraiser. As voted on by the community, we will again be raising money for Firefly: A Spark of Hope, a cancer charity based in Marietta, Ohio.
As many of you know, Trisha (Eric's mother) passed away early this year from cancer. Our inaugural charity fundraiser was in her name, and we managed to raise over $5000 before she passed away shortly after. This fundraiser will be in memory of her.
Firefly has been struggling for donations recently, and our last donation made up over 1/4 of their total funding for the year. Let's do our best to help this amazing organization.
The goal will be adjusted as necessary, since this fundraiser has no static goal. The fundraiser will run until January 31st, 2018, after which all funds raised will be sent to Firefly, however much it is.
