As many of you are aware, Trish DeJohn has done an amazing job of parenting her son under certainly less than ideal circumstances.
Trish strives in all she does to support a loving and stable home/life for Rocco. It has not always been smooth, as she and Rocco's other parent have divergent ideas about parenting. After 12 years of lacking a shared vision about Rocco's development and needs it has come to pass that a legal custody proceeding will take place. It has been initiated by the other parent.
Trish is certain that the truth is in MLK's words "The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice" and that she will prevail in court...but the deep pockets on the other side are contradictory to Trish's financial resources. She needs help -- a lot of help -- to be able to proceed with a counter suit.
