Triple Hit B Cell Lymphoma

Triple hit B-cell Lymphoma, a very rare and aggressive cancer occurs in less than one percent of B-cell lymphomas.  Savannah started having back pain in July 2018. She saw multiple doctors and none of them could imagine that a Healthy, Athletic 25-year-old girl could have anything significantly wrong. The doctors prescribe muscle relaxers and steroids telling her she must have pulled something.
After multiple trips to her doctor and urgent care she finally received some advice from her employer, a cosmetic surgeon, after an hour of asking Savannah questions and examining her, she counseled Savannah to go to the Emergency Room. “Tell them to run multiple test"!

At the ER, the staff there came to the same conclusions as her doctor, “nothing wrong, must be muscle, walk it off) but Savannah had the correct instinct to push back and demand the proper tests, as her friend and employer had suggested. The back pain she was having was too severe to be muscular. She requested to get more test done and that’s when the ER staff found the cancer. 25 years old, putting herself through med school and working 2 jobs. You can say Savannah is a force to be reckoned with. I should know I had to deal with her constantly and she never took no as an answer, even when she was in her terrible twos. 

Weighing on her mind is how she is going to pay her rent, pay her bills, feed her fur babies and pay for all her medical procedures when all this is through. She needs to focus on her health and nothing else.

 We wouldn't ask if we could afford this on our own. So, family, friends, and new people we haven't had the pleasure to meet yet. Help us take a tremendous amount of weight off her shoulders. Whether you can help financially, say a prayer, tell your friends, share through all your social media sites, or even just reading this and encourage stubborn people who refuse to go to the doctor to go to the doctor. Anything helps, and we would appreciate anything that you do for us in this time of need.
