A little of our story...
We came out pregnant with our second baby in May of 2016. Everything seemed to be going smooth and great except...bad morning sickness. You know...normal pregnancy stuff. In August I was put on bedrest...because Dr thought my placenta had detached from uterus wall a bit, but it healed perfectly after going for a check up a week and half later. Sept 9th was the big day. We were going to find out if baby McClure #2 was a boy or girl...also anatomy scan. We were excited. Little did we know...our world would come crashing down quick. They couldn't get a clear picture. The ultra sound tech's face got serious and straight all of a sudden. I knew something wasn't right. They also told us that our baby was a boy. When our dr talked to us...she told us baby's heart wasn't developing like it should and there was very little amniotic fluid and that things didn't look good. Our doctor recommneded to do the genetic blood test which it all came back negative....also it showed our baby was a GIRL. I had to ask because I knew that the ultra sound techs couldnt see a clear picture. We were sent to a specialist...which they found no kindneys (the reason for very little amniotic fluid) also..no stomach..no bladder..and she has hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Also possibly...cleft lip and club foot. We were told it was a lethal pregnancy...she could possibly be still born, go into preterm labor, or even if she made it full term...she wouldn't be able to survive outside of me. We had the option to terminate. But that wasn't an option for us at all. We believe in miracles. And if there is even a little chance for her to live...we will give her that chance.
We are currently 28 weeks pregnant. That means...12 weeks or less. And she's still moving strong. But as time gets closer....anything can happen. We aren't the family that likes to ask for help. Especially financially help from other people. We don't know what will happen. Whether it be...plan a funeral...or if God will reveal himself and put his miraculous healing hands on our sweet girl. But we know she will have health issues possibly and that would call for some medical expenses. We have a sweet boy already (Isaiah) who's 18 months. And when the time comes...sean will take off work, depending on what's going on...we won't know how long. So any donations that will help with medical expenses, our bills, needs for Isaiah, and hopefully not but funeral expenses. If you can't donate anything...prayers are greatly appreciated. Power of prayers goes a long ways.
Thank you.
Sean, Shelby, Isaiah, & Trinity!
