Hi everyone!
We’re Mellina and Grace, and we’re currently volunteering in Arusha, Tanzania for 4 weeks with IVHQ. As part of our placement, we’ve partnered with Trinity Daycare, a local centre which we are caring for and teaching English and maths to kids aged 1-6.
Trinity is doing incredible work with very limited resources. Many of the children go without basic essentials everyday. The sleep room for babies is a singular mattress, many of the children are without chairs, pencils, basic stationary ect.
We’re raising funds to directly support Trinity with:
- Stable food supplies
- Stationary and learning materials
- Chairs for all students
- Mattresses and pillows for nap time
- Other essentials including soap, toilet paper, and carpet.
Every dollar raised will be going directly to this daycare. We will be purchasing in the next week from local markets to get all of these supplies and having additional aid means we can support them even more. The smallest donations can go along way here.
