Trinidad Hot Meal Fund

Tax deductible
This program is provided through Cooperation Humboldt to help feed some of the people around Trinidad who are struggling to get by during the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently the program is serving a meal every Wednesday afternoon to about 20 people and has been doing so since mid-April.

Please donate to help cover the cost of food and carry-out boxes. Brett Shuler of Brett Shuler Fine Catering is providing his services to prepare the meals in the Trinidad Town Hall kitchen and the food is being delivered by CH volunteers.

More information about Cooperation Humboldt:
Cooperation Humboldt exists to build a solidarity economy across the North Coast. We identify/support existing cooperative economic efforts and create new ones where needed. A solidarity economy is one that empowers people to meet their needs without exploiting or oppressing anyone, and without destroying the planet. It combines systems and approaches that prioritize collaboration over competition, cooperation over domination, and employs a needs-based rather than a commodities-based approach.
