Hello fellow friends and family of Phuong and the Trinh family.
Many of you have heard about the news about Phuong. Please pack yourself a box of Kleenex if you scroll through the Facebook posts on Phuong and Michele's pages of how one person has impacted, changed, and brought so much life into so many people's lives. He has given so much to the world and so many people have asked how they can give back.
It's with a heavy and humble heart that this fund is dedicated to help Michele, Maddox and the Trinh family on expenses as they navigate the loss of their husand, father, son, friend, and spirit animal. Many expenses come in the short term and there are many expenses in the long run.
I never thought I would have to make one of these for my best friend and you probably never thought you would come across such a page for somebody who lifted so many people up.
You may not know Phuong or the family personally depending on where this page is shared but I assure you, you're life is likely impacted from Phuong's impact on the person you know or the person you know who knows a person who knows Phuong. Or that person's cousin, brother's friend's dog walker who knows Phuong.
I thought about if I were to give $1 per smile, how much that would be. I soon realized that it would take the net worth of Jeff Bezos to get to only half way of the amount needed. Donate what you can to help Michele, Maddox, and the rest of the family take care of things whether it be $1, $10 or something else.
There are two GoFundMe's out there. This one and then Jenny Van Unen also setup one. Jen is someone that Phuong and Michele work with at Verizon in SLC. We wanted people to feel comfortable with the donations so the other is focused on Verizon employees and this is for everybody else. Either way, the money will go to the right spot.
