Melania Vasquez was a Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown resident for over 30yrs. She was a loving and dedicated mother/grandmother and a two time breast cancer survivor. She was dearly loved by her family and her community. Her sudden death due to complications related to Covid19, was a shock to the family and entire community.
Melania, tested positive for Covid 12/23 and at 4am on 01/05 she past away. Due to the nature of the virus, she was isolated from family and friends and from a hospital bed only communicated with her family via video before passing.
She is survived by her daughters Maribel and Elena Trinidad-Vasquez. They are both devastated and entire family has been shaken by this loss. Unfortunately, Maribel and Elena are struggling financially and unable to grieve the loss of their dear mother due to having to make all arrangements for funeral and burial so unexpectedly .
