Triggers Eye Surgery

My dog Trigger if you don't know is honestly the best dog you could ever ask for. Not just because he is my dog, but because he truly has lived up to it. For instance, what puppy do you know has only had one accident in the house and that was it? Not many that's for sure. He is BEYOND loving, energetic, happy and overall light of the room. He loves to run on the trails with me and go for car rides and watch the world pass him by and play fetch for the 5 min he will and then get tired and go sleep for 5 hours. He lives to please and be all a dog can offer to his "master". Recently I have noticed a decline in Triggers energy and sight. I then realized he started to have discoloration in his eye. It seemed to me as a mass of some sort. We then brought him to the vet to find out my worst fear became a reality. Trigger needs his eye removed entirely due to the mass being so big and growing with the unknown of it being malignant or benign. And if it doesn't come out soon then he could risk spreading of the cancer and or lose his eye sight slowly and painfully. We are beyond devastated seeing our lil trig go through this and not being able to help him immediately as we wish we could. I don't expect to see the goal reached but it is worth every shot to help my best friend get all the help he deserves for another chance. Thank you!
