Our Dear Sweet friend Tricia is in the midst of a physical and emotional storm.
After beating breast cancer a few years ago, Tricia recently learned that the cancer has returned. This time in several different areas. She began receiving treatment three weeks ago. She is receiving excellent care but must travel to and from Atlanta to do so.
This past week, after treatment, she was heading back home to Tennessee when she was notified of some tragic news. Tricia's husband and rock, lost his life in a car crash on the way to pick her up from the airport.
Tricia is still (and will probably for some time to come) trying to process all of this. She is navigating things she's never had to before, both physically and emotionally.
Richard, Tricia's husband , had the insight and told her she would be healed from her cancer. We (her and her friends) believe this to be true as well. In order for her to be healed she NEEDS to continue her treatments. She is scheduled for weekly treatment, in Atlanta for at least the next 5 months. While her insurance covers the treatment and her airfare - it does not cover her accomodations , ground transportation or meals during her stay. These trips cost her approximately $150 (lodging & transportation only) weekly.
She has 5 months of this at least. Her income was provided solely from her husband as she is unable to work due to the treatments.
We would like to ask for your assistance in helping Tricia continue her treatments - worry-free of the costs involved to get there and back.
