Tricia's Fight with Cancer

Hi there! My name is Ashley Phillips. Some of you may know me, some may not, but I'm here to tell my story of my family. We've kept to ourselves for over a year, but as things have not gotten any better, we decided it was time to reach out to people. 

First, let me start by saying how incredible my mom is. She raised 3 her kids all by herself and never complained. She was ALWAYS there for all of us.  Good or bad. And now it's our turn to be there for her.

In September/October of 2016, my mom started experiencing so much pain that it began interfering with her quality of life. She could no longer do daily activities that she once did. She couldn't work and she couldn't do things with her family that she once loved. For several months, the doctors thought it was menopause and scheduled her for a hysterectomy, but days before her surgery she was rushed to the ER because of the pain and found out her diagnosis. 

In February of 2017, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometrial Cancer. There were also signs of cancer in her lungs. She had to get her lung drained because there was so much excess fluid in there. 

After about a year and a half of chemo and radiation, everything has stopped working. Unfortunately, she will stop all her treatments and just see where life takes her next. 

She has not worked since she was diagnosed and doesn't receive much financial help. She still has bills, a house to pay for and everyday essential items to pay for. On top of her medical needs that she can't really afford.  

We are reaching out for help to anyone who is able. We would appreciate it greatly if you could share this so other people can see it and potentially help as well.
