Medical Expenses: Tricia Johnson

Donation protected
Our P.E.O Sister and Cottey College alumn (class of 1986), Tricia Johnson, recently had to have her left leg amputated just below the knee. Complications from her first surgery landed her in ICU for many days. After fighting infections and a second surgery, she spent some time at an in-patient rehab center learning to manage daily tasks with one leg. She finally made it home and is currently doing out-patient rehab and preparing to be fitted for a prosthesis. Although insurance does cover some expenses she will be paying over$5,000 (out of pocket) for her new leg.  Additionally, the two surgeries, time in ICU and at rehab has accumulated many bills in which she is still receiving.  We hope to help her as much as possible.

I am asking any Sisters, Cottey College alumn, family, friends and friends of friends to please donate to help her get a new leg and pay some medical expenses.

Please know that she is doing well and in good spirits. She is looking forward to the new leg which sounds like she may be ready for it as soon as July!
