Tribute to Richard

Dr. Richard Osei-Frimpong suddenly passed away on Friday, January 10th. He was found in his apartment by the police Saturday night.
Dr. Richard Osei-Frimpong was a son, a brother, a cousin, and above all else an amazing person. As a first generation immigrant, he did a lot with the opportunity given to him. He worked hard and persevered through so much to not only get a college degree but also a medical degree as well. Richard decided to dedicate his life to the service and care of others. He gave his all to his work and the patients he cared for. He was selfless, compassionate, courageous, determined, and remarkable. Although he died before he could finish his residency his family is very proud of him.
This fundraiser is to help with the funeral and the cost of sending his remains to Ghana so that his mother who has not seen him in ten years, can say her final goodbyes.
The family’s grief is compounded by worry of how they are going to get his remains home and put him to rest peacefully surrounded by those who loved him. Any help given will be greatly appreciated.
