It takes more than one person to make a team and that’s why I’m asking you to donate to my Team In Training (TNT) TRI to CURE Cancer fundraiser benefiting the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

In honor of my mother, Christine Shrewsbury, I am training for my first IRONMAN 70.3 Triathlon with TNT.

Mom was diagnosed with cancer last year and continues to fight for her life. A year and half later we are fortunate that she is still with us. But, like many cancer patients, we live each day one at a time, praying her strength and vitality continues and this is not the day the disease takes her from us.

She has always been selfless! A strong, loving, inspiring Italian matriarch, forever putting the needs of everyone else before her own. Mom is the glue that strengthens our family and takes great pride in the passion she puts into caring for her family, friends and “love” she puts into her cooking.

By participating as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) TNT, I am raising funds to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for patients.

Your donation will help fund treatments that save lives every day; like cutting edge immunotherapies, that use a person’s own immune system to kill cancer.
