Treys fight against Sarcoidosis

Donation protected
Let me start by telling you who Trey is. Trey is a fighter, his life was never easy starting with his childhood but with Gods grace,  his unwavering faith and  pure determination he made a great life for his family. Trey is a kind, loving, willing to help anyone no matter how awful he may feel that day kind of guy. Trey was diagnosed 4 years ago with a disease called Sarcoidosis . A rare inflammatory or autoimmune disease.Sarcoidosis is a horrible disease that they have no cure for. Trey was given a life expectancy of 5 years at the age of 48. This disease has over taken Trey's body.  Sarcoidosis started in Treys lungs causing frequent bouts of chest pain and recurrent bouts of bronchitis and pneumonia. The disease progressed to his lymph nodes, heart and most recently his central nervous system.  Trey was a proud, strong ironworker, he sadly can no longer do what he loves. He lost his job as a field superintendent in August 2020 because he could no longer safely drive to job sites or safely walk through job sites without falling. In Treys selflessness way he agreed to be in National Jewish Hospitals sarcoidosis research program to help others. He will sacrifice himself and undergo any test or treatment to help gather data for others in their fight against sarcoidosis.  Fast forward to now 2 years later, Trey is experiencing more extreme bouts of chest pain, joint pain more frequent seizures as well as  loss of feeling in his feet, legs and hands. He has applied for disability but was told this would take at least a year maybe longer to complete. Time he doesn't have. His benefits will run out and the disease is progressing rapidly. He ideally needs constant care but this is not an option due to financial restraints. Treys medical bills are mounting and his main concern is not being able to take care of his family. The stress is overwhelming to him which does not allow him to rest. Please consider helping Trey pay for his continuous medical bills and day to day expenses to ease his burden.  His everyday physical struggles are enough for him to overcome. He is not a quitter and he will fight until he can help researchers find a cure.
