Trevor Smith: Road to the PGA Tour

My name is Trevor Smith and I am beginning my pursuit to get my PGA Tour card. I have a full schedule for 2018 of mini-tour events including Monday qualifiers for Web.com and PGA tour events.
I have complete confidence in my ability to compete at the highest level, however I am lacking in funds. That is why I am here. I need your help to raise the money needed for me to travel and compete to achieve my life-long dream of being on the PGA Tour. Every dollar donated will be put into a savings that will be strictly for tournament expenses. This is a business and donators are a part of this business.
I have competed in major amateur events from the Jones Cup Invitational in Sea Island, GA to the Patriot All-American Invitational in Wigwam, AZ. I also Monday qualified for the Web.com Tour's United Leasing & Finance Championship this past April. I have already proven that I have the ability to compete on the major pro tours. I am currently working Outside Services at the Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, GA. My parents work hard in order to see that my brother and me get every opportunity needed to chase our respective dreams. Years of sacrifices have already been made and will continue to be made by my parents and myself in order to be successful. I always price match and find the cheapest way to get to and from an event and always look for the most frugal option when it comes to housing and nutrition while away at events. My expected expenses for this season are estimated around $40,000. This includes tournament and travel expenses for 12 mini-tour events, 3 Web.com Tour Monday qualifiers, 3-6 PGA Tour Monday qualifiers, and Web.com Tour Q-School. I want to be able to be self-sufficient in my career and will work hard in order to achieve this; all I need is a helping hand to give me momentum. I hope and pray that you will donate towards my quest to achieve a goal of mine since I was a 7 year-old competing in my first golf tournament.
