Help Trevor Say Goodbye to his Mom

Trevor's mom Linda was hospitalized last week after being found unconscious in her home. Doctor's tests revealed an excess of ammonia in her body which caused immobilization and a great deal of confusion. Though at first Linda's condition seemed to be getting better after a week of intubation, the doctors concluded the ammonia had caused irreversible brain damage which would make it impossible to perform normal day-to-day activities like eating and using the restroom without the assistance of a full time care-taker. Linda had discussed such a scenario with her partner Steve long before her hospitalization, agreeing that if either of their quality of life declined to such a level, the best option would be to go peacefully. With deep, deep consideration and sadness, Linda has decided to forego an arduous medical battle and follow through with her original wishes to be taken off life support.

For those of you who don't know Trevor, he is a truly dedicated hard worker and artist who always lights up the room whether it's with his smile from behind the bar at Lincoln Hall and The Reveler, or with his camera flash at your favorite band's show. However, like many of us working as artists and in the service industry, the financial burden of last minute flights and missing work are too great to manage alone. This fundraiser will help cover the cost of travel expenses and let Trevor take off work for the weekend to be with his mom as she transitions.
