Family and friends, On January 6th Trevor had emergency surgery to remove a blood clot that dislodged from his heart then travelled down into his leg. During his recovery this past month in multiple hospitals, it was determined the situation is even more serious. Trevor has a rare condition called pheochromocytoma. He requires an invasive surgery to remove a tumour on his adrenal gland located on his kidney. As well, to look around for fragments of that tumour found in testing. These tumours over the years have caused cardiomyopathy (heart disease). In Trevor’s case an accelerated heart rate and said blockage. The damage this condition has had on his heart means it’s too weak for the next surgery. Trevor, his team of doctors and all of us need to strengthen it for his surgery that is booked in 3 months. Trevor has always been there for so many of us when ever we call. It will be at least 6 more months before he returns to work.
