Christmas morning our hearts were shattered and Trevor Grant’s young children, Andrea (13) and Scott (11) are left to process the passing of their adoring Dad.
This fund is in loving memory of Trevor and the joy he brought to his children’s lives. It is established for Andrea and Scott to help them live their lives to the fullest by enabling them to pursue the post-secondary education their father so wanted them to have.
Trevor was an amazing son, brother, cousin, nephew, friend, and most importantly a phenomenal father to his two children. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. He spent countless hours teaching Andrea and Scott many life skills through the time he devoted to them. Whether it was while they were exploring the great outdoors, playing games, tinkering on a motorcycle or car, talking at the dinner table, or the endless hours spent cooking, Trevor was always answering the kids' thought-provoking questions and challenging the kid’s intellect – usually with a dash of his brilliant humor.
He worked hard to support his family and wanted his children to have the best of everything and was the sole provider for their needs. With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for his children’s future education expenses.
Please help them live their lives to the fullest despite such pain and sorrow. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide. We also encourage everyone to keep Trevor’s family in their thoughts and prayers.
Wherever a beautiful soul has been there will be a trail of beautiful memories.
“There is no pain so great as the memory of joy in present grief.” – Aeschylus
Donations will be divided equally between Andrea and Scott and placed in an education trust fund.
Much Love,
Marlene Grant-Hoffer
