Trent is going to be off work indefinitely due to his recent brain surgery and diagnosis of Glioblastoma Multiforme. Trent had recently changed jobs and he does not have the benefit of short or long term disability and had not been at the new job long enough to quality for unemployment. He is healing from the brain surgery he had on December 21st. The doctors are wanting him to begin chemotherapy and radiation as soon as possible. Right now he is in a fight for his life, a fight for time with his four beautiful kids and his family. He hates asking for help so as his big sister I am doing it for him. He is going to have a lot of medical bills from surgery, the cost of his chemo, radiation and other medication. We all know what it's like to keep up with our regular bills and the cost of caring for our children, just imagine that stress combined with losing ypur source of income and being diagnosed with a life shattering illness. If you feel it in your heart to give whether by donation, prayer, or both I know Trent would be eternally grateful. Any amount big or small would help, even 10$ buys diapers and every lit bit adds up. Latest update:
Trent is home. He is has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma, also known as glioblastoma multiforme, GBM or grade IV astrocytoma, is a fast-growing, aggressive type of central nervous system tumor that forms on the supportive tissue of the brain. The doctors hope now is to buy him time with chemotherapy and radiation. These therapies will not treat or cure it. That is our new reality. They said their hope is to buy him 2-3 years maybe even 5. They are making new therapies everyday to battle cancer. Our hope is they buy him enough time that something new is developed that could change his prognosis. Trent does not feel up to talking right now, he is still recovering from the surgery. Please pray for our family and most of all pray for Trent. Pray for a miracle for him.
