Trent's Hospitalization

Our beloved Trent has come down with a severe case of meningitis. He's been in a critical condition for sometime now since being told by a local Orange County urgent care that he had only influenza. His condition worsened and worsened with each passing day. He could barely speak, stand, or even lift a fork to his mouth to feed himself.  Having never been this ill in his life, his father came to his rescue and admitted him to Honorhealth Shea Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona.  After four MRIs, several blood draws, scans and spinal tap, they've confirmed meningitis and are treating him for both bacterial AND viral until they are certain which he is battling. Trent does not have health insurance of any kind and the hospital is going to do everything they can to keep costs down and work with his family, but the remaining balance is estimated by the billing staff to be well over 30-40k and climbing  even before considering the cost of aftercare and therapy, loss of wages, and loss of job security. As of now, Trent's doctors have made clear that he is to remain in hospital for another three to four days should his condition improve and we pray they do. That will mean another three to four days of climbing medical costs. 
       Please, as his family, we pray for your help in sharing this or contributing to his cause in any way you can. Trent is one of the best men we've had the pleasure of knowing. He's immensely loved for his kindness, his contagious spirit, and his unfailing loyalty and support for all family and friends. In his crucial hour of need, we will do everything in our power to return that love and support.
