Trent Westphal was a man who lived a life in service to others. He had a 19 year career with the Plover Fire Department, and a 20 year career as a Waste Water Treatment Operator for the Village of Plover. Truly devoting his life to the safety, health and well-being of his community. Together with his wife they devoted over 30 years to animal rescue including fostering, rehab and transporting hundreds of dogs. Once again his generous spirit giving in service to others less fortunate than himself. Trent was an avid sportsmen deeply connected to nature. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and convening with Mother Nature as much as he could. As MS and Parkinson’s stole some of his mobility he began a quest to feed the smaller woodland creatures and record their acrobatic antics to share with the world on social media spreading joy everyone, even as he battled debilitating illness. Trent’s final gift of his life was to donate his body to science so research could be done on these diseases in hope of helping doctors find a future cure and new treatments for others afflicted with the same conditions.

We don't want to see Trent's giving spirit end with him so we have set up this memorial fund to continue his good work. Trent gave of his time and talents to many organizations and it is our hope that this memorial fund will help those good deeds continue. Support of his beloved Critter Cam project, the Plover Fire Department, animal rescues and many charities near and dear to him will benefit from this fund because of your generosity.
