<div>In less than a couple of weeks, Ira and I will be setting off on a trek to Everest Base Camp. We’ve decided to dedicate this journey to raising funds for something close to our hearts - the Old Ruts Under 14 Rugby Team tour.

<div>Old Ruts Rugby Club (oldrutsrugby.com) is our local, community-driven, family-oriented club — a place where kids from all backgrounds come together, make friends, and grow both on and off the pitch. The club is run almost entirely by volunteers and plays a huge role in our community.

<div>Every year, at the end of the rugby season, teams go on a 2–3 day tour where they will compete against other clubs — a highlight for every young player. It’s more than just rugby; it’s about teamwork, confidence, and unforgettable memories.
</div>

<div>This year, our U14 team has moved out of the Kids First group, which means they now need to organise and fund their own tour. Unfortunately, that comes with higher costs, which could make it difficult for some players to join.
</div>

<div>We believe every child should be part of this amazing experience, regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we’ve decided to dedicate our trek to help make sure no one is left behind and to give the team the best possible send-off to the season.
