On Friday 9th October , I will be running 214 miles following the Southern Upland Way in Scotland. Its an attempt to break the record time of 55 hours 55 minutes; a record which has stood for 30+ years.
I want to use the Run as a means to promote just how easily we can help the environment and make positive steps towards limiting the impact of global warming.
To show my appreciation to the runners and support team that will be helping me along the way, I’ll be planting a tree on their behalf.
I wanted to open this up to the public and Show that for the cost of a pint of beer or large coffee, a tree can be planted.
If you are interested, the link above explains in a little bit more detail what the company offer and the brilliant work they are doing for the environment.
If you leave your name and email address in the comments section below, a picture will be sent to you along with the coordinates of the tree/ trees you’ve purchased in Scotland. Thankyou
