Tree Monkey Project/ Ecuador

Tax deductible

The Tree Monkey Project expedition will be in Ecuador September 2021, where we will train native Kichwa and Secoya tribes living in the Amazon basin how to use modern tree-climbing skills and equipment.

This allows them to avoid bees, ants, sap, snakes and damage to sensitive plants, while developing sustainable harvest methods, which will lead to long-term, sustainable financial independence and help protect the jungle while they harvest products for our use in the United States.

Your donation will allow Tree Monkey Project to send instructors and assistants into the jungle to train 12 Ecuadorian Kichwa and Secoya members on safe techniques to access some of the world’s most biologically diverse rainforest canopies.

In addition to the skills training, Tree Monkey Project will donate the necessary ropes, harnesses and other equipment, so they can continue to harvest sustainability. We plan to return within a year to follow up on training in order to ensure safety and sustainable practices.

Our ultimate goal is to empower people to create sustainable relationships between rainforest communities and the habitats and wildlife where they live.
