This sweet little angel is my happy nephew JUAN DAVID he was born November 21, 2013 to my brother Juan and sister inlaw Jeannine and joined his two older sister Isabella & Emma. He has brought compleate light and joy into our family. He is a mini version of my brother Juan.Today I ask for your prayers~~ On February 13th 2014 he was taken to the doctor because everyone in his house was getting over a cold but he seemed to be the only one not getting better. During his check up my sister inlaw mentioned to the nurse that the pacifier was causing bruising around JD's mouth that was concern enough for the nurse to run some blood work. On February 14th 2014 they received one of the worst news a parent can receive. At 2.5 month Leukemia was the diagnosis. The Good news despite the diagnosis is that there is a  90% success rate with treatment however they have never treated such a young patient so treatment can't be as agressive as with older kids or adults. But we believe in GOD and know that he moves mountains and JD will be kicking some cancer butt!! So Far he is impressing the doctors with how amazing he is doing!!  Juan and Jeannines lives have been compleatly changed NOTHING can prepare any parent for such news.While trying to grasp the news they had to drop everything! While getting JD tested and finding a treatement options Jeannine has been by JD from hospital to hospital while my brother runs back and forth from hospital to their house to be with Isabella and Emma who only know there little brother is a little sick and cry for their mom everyday. Juan has temporally stopped working to be with JD & Jeannine in hospital for these cruitial first months while also being at home trying to make things a bit normal for Isabella and Emma. JD will be receiving a modified treatment developed for adults because there has not been any new treatments developed for babies so anything done to him will be new!!! Any Donations not needed will be DONATED TO CHILDRENS CANCER RESEARCH (St JUDES) Currently only 4% is given to all Childrens Cancer Research such a devastating number since every day 46 kids are diagnosed with it and everyday 7 kids will loose their battle. PLEASE BE THE CHANGE Lets make our voices heard!
