Treatment for Vali's Liver

Vali arrived to me as a 5 month old with severe worm damage due to being incorrectly wormed as a foal. The damage caused toxins and proteins to leak through his perforated gut wall which lead to extreme malnourishment and now liver damage. He couldn't be insured for this due to it being part of a pre existing issue.  I have a £1204 bill to pay to my vets for the life saving steroids and specialist liver supplement that he will be treated with for the coming 4 weeks. He will have his blood retested in 4 weeks to see if there is much of a difference. By that point his liver enzymes should be stabilised - if not improving. After much deliberation and some encouraging words from friends I decided to start this page up so that anyone who has been following our long, hard battle of a journey can help if they so wish. All funds will be going straight to my vets and if there is any excess this will go to them as well as no doubt he will need ongoing treatment from them.
