Treatment for Martha

In early October 2019, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and proceeded with a double mastectomy with left lymph node dissections (17 were removed) in early/mid November 2019. One lymph node returned positive which lead to the official staging to Stage II Breast cancer. Since her operation, she has been healing. Unfortunately, chemo was not initially anticipated and has not been started due to insurance setbacks. She is to begin a 4 round chemo treatment with assorted chemo drugs that will be infused over approximately 4 months. The sooner we can start, the quicker she can begin to fully heal. However, we cannot begin until we pay the initial first half: $4,075. This amount is to be paid in full at once and then the following half (an additional $4,075) will be placed on a payment plan. Going through a cancer diagnosis alongside a family member has not been easy- but financial setbacks make it even harder. We never anticipated that we would be in this situation but we ask anyone who could assist us in this journey would be much appreciated.
