Treatment for Chronic Pancreatitis

My name is Daniel Whedbee. I am a single father of 2 from Palm Coast, FL. In June of 2017 I was hospitalized and diagnosed with Chronic Pancreatitis. Since then, I have been in the hospital 13 times. At the time of diagnosis I did not realize what a serious condition it would be and what a toll it would take on my life. I have spent the last year and a half extremely ill with very little Medical Assistance as I did not have insurance and was denied Medicaid. My condition  requires me to need frequent visits to a Gastroenterologist and Pancreas Specialist which I have not been able to see since October of 2017 because of the out of pocket cost. Chronic Pancreatitis causes severe chronic pain, nausea and vomiting, malabsorption, and have extremely limited my quality of life and ability to work. Even on my best days I am not able to work even close to what I was before I was sick. As a father of 2 with very limited ability to bring in an income my bills have gotten to be very difficult to keep up with let alone being able to see the Doctors I need to. I'm asking for assistance get to the Specialist in hopes they will be able to help me and find a way to get back to working a normal schedule, or at least find a way to limit the symptoms of my condition.
