Treatment for Avery

Hi everyone!  We hope your summer has been great.

We are trying to help our very good friend's sweet baby girl, Avery.  Avery is ten years old and loves acting, singing and reading.  She has amazing talents!  She plays piano and has acted in school plays.  She is very loving, kind, giving and is a wonderful friend.

We believe that God has put it on our hearts to help Avery and her family.

Sadly, Avery is suffering from a severe and debilitating form of OCD.  She is literally being emotionally tortured by terrifying compulsive thoughts.  She describes it like she's experiencing a nightmare that she can't wake up from.

This precious girl is under attack all day long every day.  She has gone through more difficulties than any little girl should have to experience.  It is truly heartbreaking.  It has taken such a huge toll on her and her parents - Avery was unable to finish the school year with her friends.

Currently Avery and her mom Amy are in a treatment center that specializes in helping kids with this illness.  They are having to fund an apartment and the treatment and are relying on the kindness of family and friends to help make this possible.  At this moment they are in danger of losing funding from insurance.  This has placed them under a huge financial burden, as I'm sure you can imagine!

Can you please consider helping support Avery's treatment?  This precious girl deserves the chance to be free of this terrible illness.
