Travis Walker Motorcycle Accident

My name is Travis Walker. On July 12, 2018 I was traveling home after work on my motorcycle to see my family when my worst nightmare came true. A car pulled out in front of me and despite my best efforts I couldn't avoid the collision. Of course, the driver didn't have a valid drivers license or insurance. The driver was charged and I was taken to the hospital.

I am writing this from my hospital bed where I have a broken foot, rib, collarbone, scapula, and wrist. My most serious injury is to my left arm. The trauma surgeon called it a de-gloving injury where the skin is separated from the arm. I have had two surgeries so far and will need skin grafts to repair the damage. The surgeon said I was lucky that the arm didn't require amputation. The good news is that I am alive and can still see my wife and two children. 

The bad news is that I will be out of work for a while and will need to cover many medical expenses. My wife is taking time off of work to help me recover. Any money we raise will help my family greatly as we go through the recovery.
