Travis' Walk Around Lake Michigan 2022

Hello friends! I am walking around Lake Michigan again!

The last few years, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to advocate for mental health, particularly on behalf of our veteran brothers and sisters. Between each trip, 1,362 total miles have been walked, and thousands of dollars raised for the Mission 22 organization have been raised, all thanks to many of you and your support.

On May 1st, I’ll be taking off for another trip on foot, around Lake Michigan. I’ll take approximately 8 weeks, and 900 miles to complete the venture. The goal is to raise funds for the Mission 22 organization, but my intent this year is to also bring light to other causes that speak to my heart, such as support for Afghan and Ukrainian refugees, and victims of domestic abuse as well as sex trafficking. At least one day a week, I will dedicate a post to a different cause.

I’ll be posting updates daily on both my personal page and"Veteran Suicide Awareness: Travis' Hike Around Lake MI", as well as other socials such as Instagram. There you’ll see where I’m walking, my intended route and where I end up each day. I’m looking forward to seeing old friends, and meeting new ones too! (Though I’m not sure about bringing home any kittens this time )
