Stanfordville Fire Destroys Family's Garage
On the evening of April 30 tragedy struck a loving family in Stanfordville, NY. The Travis Family, neighbors and friends to so many sustained an indescribable loss due to fire that raged through the family garage, destroying their entire array of outdoor equipment, their children's toys, every tool imaginable, tools necessary to maintain their home and property. Countless, irreplaceable family heirlooms were also lost.
The tool collection alone, certainly worth over $150k is lost as is the entire building. The structure, a two story building burned completely to the ground. The photo shown is well into the evening as the Stanford Fire Department, East Clinton and other volunteers battled this tremendous scene.
As someone who was on-site before anyone, the horror I witnessed was unimaginable. My heart aches for this family and I ask that you support them during this trying time.
