***Please understand ahead of time that while we very greatly appreciate everyone's support, for obvious reasons, we cannot and will not discuss specifics of our son's case.  In the event of a miracle, and the charges get dropped, we will either refund any remaining money, or donate it to a worthy cause such as Le Bonheur Children's Hospital or St. Judes Children's hospital***

Asking for help is not an easy thing for me to do, as I am usually the one that offers help, not requests it, so please know that this is my last resort.  I come to my friends and family with my hat in hand as I ask for your support to help me help my son.  For the first time in my life I feel helpless because I can't fix this on my own.

As quickly as we possibly can, we need to raise as much money as possible for the legal defense of our oldest son, Jared.  Any and all monies donated to this effort will be used solely for his defense.  I am currently searching for legal counsel, but it will not come cheap.
