Travis Battle Medical Expenses

With Ben and family permission I humbly created this go fund me to help my good friend Travis Battle.
June 12 around 3 AM my dear friend was hit by a hit-and-run driver. The witness (his bf Ben) said it seemed as if the car rev their engine and sped up. he was almost hit as well but was able to get out of the way however Travis was not and went flying through the air upon impact. #hatecrime
He’s pretty banged up and they are keeping him unconscious for the moment. he’s going to be in for a long rehab ahead of him.
Update:
Travis: they are slowly weaning him off the morphine. He did open his eyes today and turned his head and looked at Ben before falling back asleep.
One leg was broken in multiple places and he’s already had surgery on that, and the other leg his ankle was pretty injured but they have put them back together. He also has a laceration over one of his eyes and the socket is fractured.
they have begun to wean him off the morphine so he is coming in and out and opening his eyes today.
The main reason I created the go fund me is because Travis is an entrepreneur and while he is down and out he will not be able to make an income for himself obviously. so I created this to help him out so that he can continue to pay his bills this month while recovering. i’m sure he will also have a lot of medical expenses and I have no idea how much those will be at this point.
