Traveling with an angel
I am one of three sibling and my mom has been living with me for the last two years due to some mobility/ health concerns. About three weeks ago I came home from work early because my mom was in extreme pain in her back due to a crushed and slipped disk and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, little did we know she would be there for 3 weeks fighting for her life. Our sweet mommy passed away on October 4th at the age of 62.
I am raising money for my siblings and I to take our mom back to her hometown, we are taking her remains on a long journey, by car,from Texas to Illinois. My siblings, our combined 3 children, and are needing some assistance for all the expenses for traveling, time off work, her cremation and her memorial. Her passing was very unexpected and zero arrangements were made prior to the event.
Our mother was truly one of a kind! Her life was short but those who met her will be impacted forever. We would like to honor her by taking her ashes back home to be near her family and near where several generations, which she held so dear to her heart, are laid to rest.
