Travel to MD Anderson in Houston

I'm Pam Sudlow and I have been bravely fighting Stage 4 Colon Cancer for 3-1/2 years.  I have been accepted to a new clinical trial at MD Anderson in Houston that shows great promise to get rid of the cancer that is currently in my lungs.  I have over 20 tumors in my lungs at this time.  The trial involves a new way of fighting this disease using 3 methods:  1) a chemo drug, 2) a targeted therapy drug and 3) a new immunotherapy drug.  The combination and using them all at once to combat this makes so much more sense to me than the way they've been using one type of drug at a time the past 3-1/2 years.  
Unfortunately, I must fly from Charleston, SC to Houston every 2 weeks to receive the infusions and be monitored closely at my own expense.  I am scheduled to begin treatment Jan 23, 2018.  I have estimated I will need $10,000 for 2018 for travel expenses that include airfare, food and Uber to/from hospital. Fortunately, I have wonderful friends willing to welcome me into their homes so I won't have hotel expenses, too.

I normally wouldn't ask for this help, but after fighting this disease for 3-1/2 years and being on disability for 2-1/2 years and not working, my personal funds are depleted.
