Travel support for Ray's visiting colleagues

The one and only Dr. Ray Weldon is retiring from the University of Oregon!  As a tribute to his career and scientific contributions, a special session has been organized for the upcoming Geological Society of America Cordilleran Section meeting in Portland, Oregon, on May 15-17th, 2019. Many of Ray's collaborators and former students will be attending this meeting, and in particular, two of these collaborators require financial assistance to attend and contribute to this special session. GSA was unable to provide support, and Portland State University has agreed to pay for half their registration fees. Therefore, we wish to raise $3500 to defray the travel costs of Dr. Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov, Director of the Institute of Seismology, National Academy of Science, Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic and Dr. Weerachat Wiwegwin, Department of Mineral Resources (DMR), Thailand.
