Travel Fund for Rebeccah Wambui
Donation protected
Rebeccah Wambui is a 17-year-old student at Agape Hope Schools in Dagoretti, Nairobi, Kenya. Last month, Rebeccah and her team were selected as finalists in the Innovate Kenya 2018 Competition , where she developed a prototype of a speed bump detection system intended to reduce road accidents in her community. She has been selected as one of four youth delegates representing Kenya at the London International Youth Science Forum on July 25 - August 8, 2018. We are raising funds to cover her airfare, accommodation, and visa fees. Rebeccah's trip is also being supported by Young Scientists for Africa (YOSA) , Global Minimum , and the Mawazo Institute .
