Air Ambulence for Ximena Perez

This is Ximena Perez. She is the wonderful woman who helped take care of my son over the past 4 years. Over the past 6 months, she has been feeling dissoriented and out of sorts. Her husband, Gus, has taken her to multiple doctors, clincs and hospitals trying to find answers. Each time, she was misdiagnosed and turned away with multiple doctors telling her she simply was going through menopause. It was not until Friday, September 29th that she was finally admitted to a hospital because she began convulsing and having violent seizures. She ultimately went unconsciousness and was admitted to the ICU where she now relies on  breathing and feeding tubes. After a full week worth of tests, she has finally been properly diagnosed with Anti-NMDA Receptor Encephalitis. Her nuerologist here in Florida no longer feels like he can provide the best care for her and is suggesting she be transferred. The best care for her is at the Penn Hostpial where an ongoing study is currently taking place for this disease and the treatment that can help her FULLY recover.  She has been accepted into the Penn program, under the supervision of Dr. Eric Lancaster, but now needs to get there. I am asking for help in paying for the air transfer necessary for her to be transferred from Florida to Penn to receive the treatment she needs. This disease is curable under the proper care.
