</div>Actualmente me encuentro en proceso de recuperación tras haber sido sometida a una segunda intervención quirúrgica, durante la cual se realizó el reemplazo de una válvula programable con el fin de lograr un mejor control de las secuelas. En este momento continúo asistiendo a citas de seguimiento y evaluación médica.

<div>Me llamo Leisha Lugo y tengo 31 años de edad. Desde diciembre 2022 fui diagnosticada con hidrocefalia y tuve que ser operada de emergencia y colocarme un "V/P shunt" (válvula). Tengo un lipoma en el cerebro el cuál no puede ser operado ya que se encuentra en la placa tectal del cerebro.

<div>( inflamación de los ventrículos cerebrales, fuertes dolores de cabeza, vértigos, movimientos involuntarios,convulsiones y daños en algunas partes del cerebro).Tal resultado tuve que recibir terapia física y terapia ocupacional pero se descubre mediante los estudios realizados recientemente ( tampoco mi plan médico los cubrió) que tengo epilepsia y osteoarthritis. Los doctores están tratando de estabilizarme, para a pesar de todo tener una mejor calidad de vida, lo cual ese es mi mayor deseo. Para eso tengo que ir a especialistas como neurólogo, neurocirujano, neuropsicólogo y neurólogo especialista en dolores de cabeza.

<div>Por el momento, mi mamá es quien corre con todos los gastos del hogar ya que por todo lo sucedido no he podido volver a trabajar . Necesitamos ayuda en cuanto los gastos de transportación y alimentos para poder asistir a las citas médicas ya que son en el área Norte de la isla y vivimos en el Suroeste.
