Yo, sobrina de Ricardo Armas, hermano menor de mi mamá, tiene 51 años de edad, cuando acudía a chequeo médico fue diagnosticado en Agosto de 2017 con insuficiencia renal con sólo 25% de funcionamiento en sus riñones. El daño renal se produce lentamente durante años, muchas personas no tienen ningún síntoma hasta que la enfermedad renal está muy avanzada. La principal causa que atribuye el doctor son problemas de tensión arterial que fue afectando progresivamente el funcionamiento de los riñones, hasta el momento con 5% de funcionalidad, siendo paciente renal grado IV por lo que requiere ser trasplantado lo antes posible, ya tenemos el donante que es su hermana Koralia D Armas pero requerimos su ayuda para cubrir los gastos de la operación que hoy día por la situación país no podemos cubrir, los fondos que se recojan a través de esta campaña serán destinados a la operación de trasplante que tiene como fecha tope el 11 de marzo, Les estaremos infinitamente agradecidos por su ayuda.
