TRASHY: a zero-waste film

Hi, I’m Heather and my New Year's resolution last year was to give up trash.
But how can you give up trash?!?

 

I found out about this thing called zero-waste and how it's the easiest way to help the planet. There's already so much trash out there...there’s even a floating garbage island twice the size of Texas! And that trash is getting into our food… into our bodies...there’s even newborn babies being born with micro-plastics inside of them.

The only solution is to cut down on the trash we put out there from now on.

"TRASHY: a zero waste film" is a feature length documentary showing how I tried to give up trash, and learning from others who have already made the switch.
