Vehicle for our family

Our only vehicle caught on fire right after i had gotten off work and thankfully no one was injured.  My husband and kids were at home. I had started to go through the stop light that just turned green and it made a really loud shot gun sound and then smoke came rolling in the vents and I jumped out and managed to grab my purse and wallet and was able to get back away from it. Thanks to multiple people who stopped to help and the fire department and police. Thankfully everyone was safe and the fire was put out. My husband recently was laid off from work and i am a waitress working two jobs, and between the tow charge and work missed and with only my income we haven't been able to save money in case of something like this. We are behind on rent and struggling. We understand that so many people are in a bad spot due to all kinds of different reasons. We are just needing to get a vehicle that can be dependable for me to go back and forth to work and for my husband to look and find work. Anything will help and we would be grateful for any assistance in finding a vehicle or recommendations for anything that you may feel could be helpful.   This was and is our last option, and this is not something we wanted to do but we have to in order to support our family.  If there are any questions we would be happy to answer them.
