Transplanting Love!

My Mother is in need of a Heart and Kidney Transplant. She has been on the list for the last year and a half at Allegheny General Hospital. Her and my Father travel many times a month to Pittsburgh for Drs appointments and checkups. She has lost most of her hair due to all the medicine and requires a wig now. She has a pic line directly into her heart through her chest and wears a pump that injects this medicine into her heart 24 hours a day. Since this medicine has been added to the many she already takes it has helped her tremendously. My mother has been sick for over 20 years. The drs found she had kidney cancer over 10 years ago and removed the kidney and still to this day is Cancer FREE!!! She went into anaphylactic shock and was in a coma for 4 days about 10 years ago. This woman has fought and fought to live and she is always in good spirits. My father on December 31st lost his insurance through work and the bills are starting to add up already. 1 medicine for my father is 1500.00 a month and another for my mother is 395.00 a month. My mom requires a home health nurse to come in and change her pic line each week which is also not covered. These two people have given their entire lives serving the Lord and giving to others. I feel it’s time they deserve to have some of the stress relieved and have time for each other! They are the best parents anyone could ask for. They give and never expect to receive anything in return. My father for the last 30 years has given 2-3 days a week to the Church. Serving on committees and boards. My Father is going to be 68 years old and still works 50 hours a week, even with this he still struggles with medical expenses each month.
All money collected will go straight to them for travel expenses, Medical Bills, and Prescriptions.
