<div>TRASPLANTE DE MÉDULA ÓSEA PARA SEGUIR VIVIENDO. EL TIEMPO ESTÁ CORRIENDO.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Carlos Montes, 39 años, El Salvador.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Vi mi vida pasar antes mis ojos.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>BONE MARROW TRANSPLANTATION TO<span>CONTINUE LIVING. TIME IS CLICKING</span>
</div>

<div>Carlos Montes, 39 years old, El Salvador.

</div>

<div>"You have leukemia, that is, cancer," the doctor told me. It was May. 3 days ago I had married the woman I love.

</div>

<div>I saw my life go by before my eyes. We were preparing our religious wedding for November. I felt that all our plans, dreams, goals were collapsing in a second.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My diagnosis is acute lymphoblastic leukemia. As an adult, the prognosis is not at all flattering if you do not have the proper treatment. The 5-year survival rate is terrifyingly low. But the prognosis is very favorable with a BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT.

</div>

<div>Unfortunately, this procedure does not exist in El Salvador it would have to be in Colombia . Even so, the cost of the medical procedure is $87,000. Added to this are the costs of my donor, my wife and I having to travel and stay there for about 100 days. We don't have that money.

</div>

<div>God, the love of my wife and my family have sustained me. My body has undergone approximately 40 sessions of chemotherapy and my bone marrow has responded satisfactorily. But, according to the doctors, I have a high chance of relapse the longer I go without receiving the bone marrow transplant.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> The fear and pain of the possibility of dying are real. However, I have promised my wife and family to fight with all my might to recover. I WANT TO LIVE, but I can only achieve it with your help. In the photos I share you can see the changes it has had in this process. Me in my healthy state. My wedding: the happiest day of my life (I was sick without knowing it). My 39th birthday, so special because I had survived two cycles of chemotherapy. My first days of admission to the hospital and my current condition.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Pain, vomiting, nausea, weakness, sadness and fear have been my companions many times, but I have always managed to push them aside to make way for the hope and love of life that still has me on this plane.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> I want to believe that a happy life awaits for me and my wife. For that I ask for your help. I infinitely appreciate your solidarity. Any amount you can contribute is welcome. For the rest of my life I will be grateful to you.
