Dear Family and Friends:
The Time has arrived finally for Trevor’s Kidney Transplant, he has been on Dialysis three times a week (4hrs) each day for almost a year now. His surgery is scheduled on December 14, 2017
As most of you know, Trevor & Beth’s friends’ daughter and co-worker of theirs Shelby Tacker (18yrs of age) wanted to be tested for Trevor as a kidney donor from the start. After testing; it revealed she was not a match, so she immediately signed up for the Donor Cross Match Program involving more testing. The Program notified her that they had a Cross Match (which she donates her kidney to someone and they have a match for Trevor). So the only date available for the surgery with all involved was December 14th… 2017
It is all moving so quickly!!! Since we did not have any benefits for Trevor we are asking if you all could help with a Monetary donation. Trevor wants to help his donor Shelby as she will be out of work for several weeks and will not have any compensation of wages. There is not enough money to ever repay her for what she is giving. The ability for Trevor to continue to maintain Life for him and his family..
Trevor is especially asking for all to consider being an Organ Donor! It is so important to save a life if we can. It’s as easy as checking the box on your driver’s license renewal.
Shelby is such an extraordinary young lady bursting with love and joy. I call her an “Angel from God” for doing this for Trevor. Words cannot express how deep our love and appreciation is for her. We will be having a dinner for Shelby and her family before the surgery and hope to honor her with what donations we have collected. I understand it is short notice and Holiday time, but whatever you can contribute to help, we will be sincerely grateful.
Thank you all for your continued prayers for Trevor and Shelby that the surgery is a success and for a speedy recovery and that Trevor can maintain a long-lasting kidney free from rejection.
